Special preview of Collective Heart
On May 15, 2021, the Tretyakov Gallery presented a special preview of Collective Heart, a new work by Israeli choreographer Lotem Regev. Performed by the Ballet Moscow, Collective Heart will be showcased in Moscow as part of the Night of Museums before its world premiere at the Mart Culture Festival in June at Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv.
Lotem Regev's new piece is part of Four Movements, a night of new works by emerging choreographers from Israel and Russia. As an epigraph to his work, Lotem Regev came up with this poem:
Memories of Human warmth,
Waiting to be gone.
Mountains of time and space,
Longing to belong.
Four Movements is the result of a long-term international exchange program for choreographers initiated by the Mart Foundation, Suzanne Dellal Centre and the “Maslool'' professional dance program — Bikurey Ha'Itim Arts Center. The premiere in Tel Aviv will take place at the Mart International Festival of Culture with the support of the Embassy of Israel in the Russian Federation.
